About the Founder

Malik MXK is an academic researcher, currently completing a PhD in International Law focused on the revival of the Islamic Sacred Months as a contemporary peace framework. He holds a Master’s in International Law, a BA in International Development with NGO Management, and has also pursued studies in Arabic and Islamic sciences—giving him both legal and theological insight relevant to this context.

Guided by a desire to reduce the suffering caused by war, and by a conviction that our sacred Islamic tradition holds real-world solutions, he has spent years researching how Qur’anic principles and prophetic wisdom can inform modern peacemaking in intra-muslim conflicts.

He envisions The Sacred Months as a globally recognised initiative that revives the prophetic ethic of restraint, inspires ceasefires in times of war, and reclaims the role of the Muslim world in leading meaningful, faith-based peace-building & Justice.
